Steam valve in JET Hall sets off alarm

An issue with a steam valve set off fire alarms in John E. Thomas Hall around 3 p.m. today, Officer Joey Daniels said.

The fire alarm picked up steam, which was released when pressure was built up, Daniels said.

People in the building were evacuated and let back in around 10 minutes later.
