Sophia Lyons, Reporter

Sophia Lyons (she/they) is a senior journalism major from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She joined The Appalachian as a staff copy editor in March 2019, and took over as chief copy editor in January 2020. When she's not copy editing, Sophia also works for the news side of App State's radio station, 90.5 WASU, and the university writing center.
