A vigil was held Saturday night for freshman Anna M. Smith on Sanford Mall. Boone police found a body off of Poplar Grove that is believed to be that of the 18 year old girl. Her driver’s license and student ID were found with the body. Students from the campus gathered to pay respect to Smith during this devastating time at the university.
