Appalachian State will be crowning its Homecoming King and Queen during the halftime show of the Mountaineers game against the cowboys.
The nominees are chosen by registered student organizations and good academic standing is a requirement for selection.
The student body then votes over Homecoming week on who will be elected to represent Appalachian as its Homecoming King and Queen.
The nominees for Homecoming Queen this year are:
- Anne Carpenter, who is representing the ACT office.
- Jazmin Griffin, who is representing APPS.
- Johnalynn Hall, who is representing the Black Student Association.
- Katy Huis, who is representing Chi Omega.
- Mimi Miller, who is representing Belk and Frank Residence Hall.
- Erin Morissette, who is representing Appalachian student ambassadors.
- Tara Moseley, who is representing Alpha Delta Pi.
- Brianna Tate, who is representing the LLC.
The nominees for Homecoming King this year are:
- Troy Colvard, who is representing the Appalachian Educators.
- Chase Harrison, who is representing the Club Council.
- Kameron Kales, who is representing Delta Chi.
- Vance Langdon, who is representing SOUL.
- Tibor Nagy, who is representing Appalachian Student Ambassadors.
- Boyd Palmer, who is representing Sigma Nu.
- Huy Tu, who is representing SAGA.
- Devin Waddell, who is representing Lovill Residence Hall.
