Elizabeth Ford and Yauri Hatcher won the student body presidential election and will serve as the student body president and vice president for the 2026-27 academic year.

Ford is a junior political science major who currently serves in the Student Government Association as a College of Arts and Sciences representative. Hatcher is a sophomore international business major who currently serves as a University College representative.

The main talking points of the Ford-Hatcher campaign are connecting transfer students to the rest of the student body, pushing for more mental health resources, supporting student organizations and uniting students. 

The election results were reviewed by Deputy Assembly Speaker Julia Graffeo, the chair of the SGA Elections Court and Office of Campus Activities staff members.
