Appalachian State University men’s soccer recorded its first draw of the season against USC-Upstate after going into double overtime, Satrday.
The draw moves the Apps to 2-1-1 on the season as the Spartans also move to 2 -1-1.
App State goalkeeper Danny Free saved five shots.
The Apps only managed to get two shots on goal during the match, making things easy for Spartan goalkeeper Sekani Sinclair.
This was the Mountaineers first draw since Oct. 22, 2011, when the team took on conference rival Furman, according to goasu.com
The Apps will return to action on Monday when they take on Richmond in the final day of the Davidson Adidas Classic at 5 p.m in Alumni Stadium.
