The 17th annual Polar Plunge was held at Appalachian State University’s Duck Pond on Thursday, February 26th. The annual event raises money for Special Olympics athletes in Watauga County. It is sponsored by Watauga County law enforcement agencies and Watauga County Parks and Recreation.
