A university student was charged with a felony and two misdemeanors Nov. 1.
Junior healthcare management major John Hodge was charged with one count of felony financial card theft, one count of misdemeanor financial card fraud and one count of misdemeanor larceny, according to a Boone Police press release.
Hodge allegedly stole the victims’ wallet, which contained cash and financial cards, from Deer Valley Racquet Club. Then, Hodge allegedly used the financial card to make a fraudulent purchase, according to the press release.
Hodge was placed on a $3,000 secured bond and his court date was set Dec. 18, according to the press release.
