These projected results are unofficial. In order for election results to become official, election officials must audit and certify results, according to NCSBE. The county board will certify local contest results March 13, and all other contests will be certified in late March.

Roy Cooper is projected to win the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate with 92% of the vote.
