It sounds like attendees really put some thought into this discussion and worked hard to have a conversation that was both civil and enlightening. That’s refreshing to see. Kudos to the organizers of the event!

typical liberal dribble always attacking Christians and whitesMar 3, 2015 at 3:14 pm

if it’s ok for a black person to call another person the “N-Word” why is it not ok for a white, Hispanic, Asian or person of a different color to say the same thing? If it’s ok for a black person to wear all the accoutrements of what pretty much every typical “thug” wears, why is it not ok for people of different color to do the same? if it’s ok for a black person to make jokes about white people (Chris Rock, Kevin Hart to name a few) why is it not ok for someone of a different color to do the same? Why is there a Black Student Association at Appalachian State but no White Student Association? Why is there Black History Month and no other month devoted to other people of color? The answer is DOUBLE STANDARD.
