Holocaust Remembrance Day
The College of Arts and Sciences is hosting a brief service at the Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies to commemorate the transfer of the Holocaust Orphan Scroll from the Temple of the High Country to the Center. This event will be held on campus from 5-6 p.m. in Anne Belk Hall room 250.
Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
Author Rosi Greenberg will give a public reading on imposter syndrome at the Solarium in the Plemmons Student Union from 5-8 p.m.

Faculty Woodwind Quintet Concert
From 8-9 p.m., this free concert at Rosen Concert Hall will have five App State professors perform a collection of instrumental works focusing on recent music that highlights history and hope.
Wednesday, Jan. 29
Internship Expo
Any student interested in an internship opportunity can come to the student union to meet multiple organizations searching for interns. This event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Letters of Love Valentine’s Cards
With Valentine’s Day coming up, Letters of Love is holding an event from 6-8 p.m. in the Solarium to make cards for kids in hospitals across the country. Food will be provided.

Live in the Solarium: Emo Night
In the Solarium, students can listen to local bands Bittersuite, Veiled Willow, and Rosary for a night filled with music. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and music will be playing from 7-10 p.m.

All Recovery
Held every Wednesday and Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the Mountaineer Recovery Center in the Miles Annas Student Services Building, anyone struggling with addiction is welcome to join in this meeting to interact, share or speak on their struggles or recovery pathways that could help.
Saturday, Feb. 1
Guitar Orchestra Concert
The App State, Tidewater, and Piedmont Guitar Orchestra ensembles come together to perform at the Rosen Concert Hall from 8-9:30 p.m.
Joseph Houck (Trio Show)
Live at the Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Joseph Houck, Jeff Martin and Martin Moore will perform from 6-9 p.m. with their Americana music.
Sunday, Feb. 2
United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association Boarder/Skier X
At the Appalachian Ski Mountain located in Blowing Rock, any skier or snowboarder can come and join in this event series from Feb. 1-2. Preregister by Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10 p.m. and have their required membership to qualify for a chance to be in the USASA Nationals in Colorado. More information can be found on their website.
